An Illinois truck driver escaped serious injuries after his semi overturned around 5 Thursday evening on State Route 31 south of Mt. Victory.
According to the report from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, 49 year old Kevin Cooley was traveling north on 31 when high winds blew the tractor trailer unit onto its passenger side.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Mt. Victory Fire and EMS, Southeast Hardin EMS, the Ohio Department of Transportation and Osborn’s Towing.
31 was was closed in both directions for around 2 hours.
