To prevent further spread of COVID-19, the Flag City BalloonFest committee has canceled its annual festival slated for Aug. 14 – 16, 2020.
According to a release, there is also no end in sight for the State of Ohio’s regulations which bans mass gatherings and prohibits festivals, making it impossible to host an event such as BalloonFest at this time.
The Flag City BalloonFest has grown to become the largest, free festival in Northwest Ohio with over 20,000 people in attendance over a three-day span.
The event is expected to return Aug. 13 – 15, 2021 at Emory Adams Park.
