Gov. Mike DeWine has extended a face covering mandate for all of Ohio beginning at 6 Thursday evening.
DeWine stated that there is some indication that wearing a mask in counties where they are required is starting to make a difference.
He said the goal is keep the counties in yellow and orange from going to red.
Masks are required for everyone 10 and over with these exceptions:
.Those with a medical condition or a disability or those communicating with someone with a disability
.Those who are actively exercising or playing sports
.Those who are officiants at religious services
.Those who are actively involved in public safety
.Those who are actively eating or drinking
