Semi Collides with Train in Union County

There were no injuries reported after a collision between a semi and a train in Union County Thursday.

According to the Daily Media Release from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the 23,000 block of Morse Road to investigate the incident.

The semi struck a CSX train at that location.

The driver of the semi, Nicholas C. Rea, age 24 of Raymond, was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield at a stop sign.
