New TechCred Approvals Granted

Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted, serving as Director of the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation, has announced the results of the latest round of applications to the TechCred program.

Following the application closing at the end of October, 246 Ohio employers were approved for funding, allowing over 3,000 technology-based credentials to be earned by workers in the state.

These approvals bring the total number of employers approved for funding to 966, with employees able to earn over 15,000 credentials.

Applications for the next round of TechCred funding will open Monday, January 4, and close Friday, January 29, at three p.m.
