Kenton-Hardin Health Department Board of Health Met Tuesday

Despite fears that the current statewide plateau in coronavirus cases may represent a mere “calm before the storm,” Kenton-Hardin Health Department board members remained positive as they discussed the department’s latest happenings during last night’s meeting. 

Highlights of the night’s discussion included plans for the expected two-step Moderna vaccine shipment–said to be more stable for storage than the Pfizer vaccine–and the approval of the contract of incoming Deputy Health Commissioner Dr. James Canterbury effective January 1. 

Board member Jeryl Kissling also took time to thank the Hardin County COVID Defense Team for “answering the negativity in the community with positivity” and promoting masks and social distancing as measures area residents can take to benefit public health.
