Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day and it is a good time to give a reminder about the efforts of an Upper Scioto Valley student who wants to build a Hardin County Law Enforcement Memorial for law enforcement officers who were killed in the line of duty.
Jadon Holbrook, of Troop 124, is working towards his Eagle Scout project for Hardin County and has decided to build the memorial noting that Hardin County currently has seven line of duty deaths.
He is working towards giving those who served and paid the ultimate sacrifice a memorial that will continue for generations to remember.
Holbrook is continuing to ask for donations to help make this a successful project.
To help the cause, former Hardin County resident, Evan Ramge at Reineke Family Dealerships, traveled to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday and presented a $250 check to Holbrook.
More information on how you can donate can be found on the Hardin County Law Enforcement Memorial Facebook page.
