Ada Band Receives Superior Rating/ Ribbon Cutting Held for Storybook Walk

The Ada Marching Band traveled to Columbus this past Saturday for a competition.

The Ada Band brought home a superior rating and qualified for DState Finals.

Ada received first place in Class Cm as well as best percussion and best color guard.

Also at Ada over the weekend, a a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the Butterfield/Cotsamire Memorial Storybook Walk was held.  

Along with many family members, the current sixth grade class joined in on the ceremony as they were the last class to have had Mrs. Butterfield as a teacher.  

The Storybook Walk is located on the playground of Ada Elementary School, where Mrs. Butterfield and Mrs. Cotsamire were teachers for many years.  

The Storybook Walk was completely funded by memorial contributions to the library in memory of the teachers.
