Ada Elementary Students Conduct Successful SOUPer Bowl

Students at Ada Elementary have participated in the Souper Bowl for the past two weeks. 

In a partnership with the United Way of Hardin County,  Ada students brought in canned goods for four of the county’s outreach programs, Beatitudes of Ada, Helping Hands, The Neighborhood Opportunity Center and the New Hope Ministries Homeless Shelter in Kenton. 

The Souper Bowl was a success with the students bringing in 1,854 items.  

The class with the most donations was Mrs. Williams kindergarten class with 438 cans, in second place was Mrs. Daniels 3rd grade class with 391 and in third place was Mrs. Woodruff with 221.  

The first place class will receive a pizza party.
