The renovation project for the Ada police and village facilities is progressing.

According to information from the Ada Police Department, prep work for an elevator with basement digs and floor cut-outs is taking place.

The improvements will include a secure holding area for the temporary processing of prisoners, new office space for our police officers, an elevator for handicap access to all floors, including council chambers, and finally, improvements to administrative offices.

The $700,000 project, which began last month, is expected to be completed by late September this year.
