Alcohol Suspected in Sunday Crash in Findlay

Two drivers escaped injury in a crash that occurred late Sunday afternoon in Findlay.

According to the report from the Findlay Police Department, 71 year old James Lewis, of Bluffton, was driving east in the 1300 block of East Main Cross Street, when his vehicle drifted left of center and collided with a westbound car driven by 54 year old Jennifer Ferguson, of Findlay.

Disabling damage occurred to both vehicles.

Alcohol was suspected.

Lewis has so far been charged with a seatbelt violation.

The crash remains under investigation.
