Alger Church Starts Program to Provide Weekend Meals to Children in Village

The Alger First United Methodist Church is working with the West Ohio Food Bank to provide a program for weekend meals for Alger area children.

A bag of non-perishable food will be provided to a child at no cost.

The program is underway now through July 29.

The food bags can be picked up at the Neighbor to Neighbor Center located at 305 Main Street in Alger on Friday afternoons from 2 until 5pm.

You must complete a form and bring it with you when you pick up the first bag.

Copies of the forms have been printed and are available on the circulation desk at the Alger Public Library.
