Alger Public Library Participating in Reading Program
The Alger Public Library is participating in a program called 1000 Books Before Kindergarten.
As the name suggests, the goal of the program is to promote early childhood literacy.
Children should read 1000 books or have 1000 books read to them before kindergarten.
They will earn small prizes along the way.
