Alger Public Library Seeking Trustee and Fiscal Officer

The Alger Public Library currently has openings on the Board of Trustees and for Fiscal Officer.

The primary duties for Fiscal Officer are to run weekly payroll, issue purchase orders and pay invoices, oversee investments, and comply with legal requirements.

As part of a Trustee Board, you would serve on a volunteer basis along with six other Trustees, appointed to a term of seven years.

The duties of Trustees are to direct the funding and policies of the library, and to help promote Library services and events.
