A graveside service for Alice V. “Ginger” Rea will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Preston Cemetery in Alger with Pastor Jim Evans officiating. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died on Thursday, October 9, 2020 at Marion General Hospital. She was born on March 9, 1937 in McGuffey to the late Chester and Marjorie (Schreider) Wies. On December 21, 1958 she married Joseph Rea and he preceded her in death on September 4, 2013.

Surviving are 3 sons; Kevin Rea of Kenton, Brent Rea of Kenton, Robb Rea of Kenton, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Ron Wies, Tom Wies, and 2 sisters; Peggy Smith and Debbie Titus.

Alice was a homemaker in every sense of the word. She loved to take care of her children and spend time with her grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donors choice.
