On Saturday, after members of our department was finished with training, we done a service project for one of our members. Bob is 84 years young and has been a member of our department for several years. This project was made possible from those that donated to the fund earlier this year. During the donation request, we was able to get Bob a mobility scooter. Our local hardware and a village resident split the cost to donate 2 batteries for the scooter. Monies left over have purchased Bob fuel oil for his furnace as well as put credit on his account for later this winter. Thank you to all that helped us with this project!
