Allen County Sheriff’s Office Asking for Public’s Assistance

The Allen County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to aid in an investigation being conducted.

According to a release, deputies responded on November 8 to the 700 block of North Phillips Road for a report of a human body lying along the roadway.  

When they arrived on scene, they discovered the deceased body of William “Billy” Brown, age 22.

An autopsy revealed that Brown had been struck in the head by an unknown object.  

A newer, large pickup was caught on a nearby residential security camera driving in the area prior to his body being discovered.  

It is believed that Brown left the residence where he was visiting between 2:30 and 3:00 in the morning.
