The Allen County Sheriff’s Office has been receiving reports of scam text messages. The messages claim there is an issue with a package or delivery. The text includes a link.

The link directs to a contest website page or a survey, both asking for personal information including a credit card number.

Deputies are asking you do not click on the link and do not give personal information to an unknown sender or website.
