Michael Roush from the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services, gave a presentation about the Work Opportunity Tax Credit program at this past Friday’s Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance Membership Breakfast.

He said the program provides federal tax credits to Ohio employers that hire individuals from one of several target groups.

The credits range from $1200 to $9600, based on the target group and the number of hours worked.

The Alliance Membership Breakfast meetings are held bi-monthly and are a way for members to connect to one another and keep up to date on current events in the community.
