Announcement on 2020 Tree Town Festival to be Made Soon

Uncertainty remains when it comes to many area attractions and events around the area in the coming weeks.

One of those is the fate of the 2020 Tree Town Festival, which is normally held in early July in Forest.

Mayor Dean Hankins announced that a decision on whether that will take place this year will be made June 1.

He said the planning process continues, and he is hoping the event will take place. 

If not, hHankins said other activities will be planned to perhaps take place later this year.
