Another Large Food Distribution Set for June 11

The United Way of Hardin County, The West Ohio Foodbank, and The Ohio National Guard will be hosting another large community food distribution on June 11th at the Hardin County Fairgrounds.

The Goal is to assist 1,000 with the hopes of being the biggest distribution to date.

This non-contact food distribution will be from 10a – 2pm, or until food runs out.

.Valid ID showing Hardin County residency and at least 18 years of age.

.Trunk of vehicle must be cleaned out and all occupants must remain in vehicle.

.Limit of 2 families per vehicle served.

.Be at or below 230% the federal poverty guidelines or those who need assistance due to furlough. No one will be turned away.

Those attending may only enter at the east gate parking lot entrance and follow the direction of traffic control. No admittance will be permitted prior to 9am.
There will be no public restrooms and all participants must always remain in their vehicle while on the fairgrounds.

Vehicles will not be permitted to block traffic on fairground road, State Route 68, or State Route 31.

Members of the Ohio National Guard will again assist with boxing the food and placing in the trunk of vehicles.

The Hardin County Sheriff, Hardin County Mounted Posse, and the Kenton Police Department will assist with traffic control when entering, while on, and exiting the fairgrounds.
