Apply Now for Public Boat Dock Slips

Docks available at Alum Creek, Caesar Creek, Indian Lake, Mosquito Lake, and more

COLUMBUS, Ohio− Boat owners interested in renting public boat dock slips at some of Ohio’s most popular boating destinations may apply now for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Parks and Watercraft’s online lottery at the Dock Lottery webpage.

The online lottery application period will end on 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 31.

Online applications will be accepted during the month of October for Spring 2024 availability at the following state parks: Alum Creek, Buck Creek, Buckeye Lake, Burr Oak, Caesar Creek, Delaware, Dillon, Guilford Lake, Indian Lake, Lake Milton, Mary Jane Thurston, Mosquito Lake, Paint Creek, Salt Fork, Shawnee, and West Branch.

Along with an online application, interested lottery participants will be asked to submit a copy of their proof of watercraft ownership (title) along with a current registration. Interested applicants may sign up for more than one park, but only one application per household per park.

Lottery winners who are selected for the 2024 season will be entitled to renew their dock rental privileges for up to five years (renewable each spring). For more information, please visit https://ohiodnr.gov/docklottery
