The high winds overnight resulted in scattered power outages for customers of American Electric Power, Mid Ohio and Dayton Power and Light in our region.

Crews have restored electricity to most customers, but scattered outages remain.

Downed power lines and other wind related damage created closure and travel restrictions around the area overnight.

At one time, State Routes 309, between Jacob Parrot Boulevard and County Road 175 and County Road 100 east of 67 were closed for a portion of the overnight.

State Route 67, near County Road 75, was reduced to one lane.

The roads were opened and travel restrictions were lifted by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office at around 8:30 this morning.

Motorists are advised though to watch for work crews in the area.
