An Auglaize County woman will not be facing charges connected to the shooting death of her husband.

In a news release from late last week, Auglaize County Sheriff Allen Soloman and Prosecutor Edwin Pierce said the case was presented to the Auglaize County Grand Jury, which declined to return an indictment against Stephanie Sweigart for any offenses related to the shooting.

Deputies were dispatched to the rural St. Marys home in the early morning hours of February 8, where they found the body of 36 year old Wesley A. Sweigart.

His wife called 9-1-1 and reported that she shot her husband because she was afraid for her life.
