The Findlay Police Department is requesting assistance from the public to identify two individuals suspected in separate theft incidents in Findlay. One man is believed to have been responsible for recent thefts at Walmart involving a large quantity of electronics. Rite Aid in Ada has officially been added to the list of stores that are closing. The closing has long been rumored, and it joins the location in Kenton, which was added to the closing list last month. Since October, the company has announced in bankruptcy filings the closings of more than 600 stores. Most of the stores that are going out of business are in Ohio and Michigan.

The Kenton Police Department is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of Phillip Steele. Police believe he may be staying at several residences in Kenton and Hardin County. Steele has active warrants in Hardin County for charges including felonious assault and tampering with evidence. Steele may also be in possession of a firearm. A Kenton woman was involved in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Monday morning in Logan County's Perry Township. According to the report from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, 21-year-old Ryenne Caudill was driving south on State Route 292 and failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection with State Route 47. A crash occurred late Monday afternoon at the intersection of East Franklin and Wayne Streets in Kenton. The report is not available at this time. Disabling damage occurred to the vehicles. Witnesses at the scene said one person had to be freed from one of the vehicles.
