Lightning Suspected in Sunday Afternoon House Fire on CR 190

A house damaged by a fire was believed to have been caused by lightning Sunday afternoon. The Belle Center Fire Department was dispatched to 12692 County Road 190 at around 3:40 yesterday afternoon. The property is owned by Bruce Mendenhall according to information on the Hardin County Auditor's website. The house appears to be a total loss, but no other information is available at this time.
