The area business was able to donate $1300 for the Hardin County Dog Warden to give the shelter dogs a better life. Renew Carpet Cleaning gave a special thanks to everyone who donated. They stated that the donors have made a difference in the dog’s lives.

Photo: Upper Scioto Valley Music Department 4th and 5th Grade students at Upper Scioto Valley recently attended the Lima Symphony Orchestra’s Annual Young People’s Concert. This year’s concert was called “Electric Dreams.” The students heard Tracy Silverman play electric violin with the orchestra. The students learned more about the orchestra, and band students also learned more about band instruments during the field trip.

Local veterans are invited to attend a Veterans Day Program at Hardin Northern on Monday, November 11th. Refreshments will be served in the school cafeteria starting at 8:20am that morning. A brief program will follow in the junior high gym at 9:00am, and that will last until around 9:45am. Those planning to attend are asked to call the high school office at 419-759-2331 to RSVP.

Early in-person voting hours continue at the Hardin County Board of Elections Office. The hours are from 8am to 6pm today through Friday.
