Kenton High School’s NHS and Winter Sports Teams Wrap Up Successful Toys and More Drive for Helping Hands

Photo: Kenton City Schools Kenton High School's National Honor Society and The Kenton High School's Athletic Department winter sports teams wrapped up a successful Toys and More Drive.  The students joined forces for the annual and collected donations from December 9 through the 13th. They collected new toys, hats, gloves, canned food items, as well as monetary donations.  All donations will go to Helping Hands of Hardin County.

Hardin Northern 5th Graders Showcase Research on Ancient Civilizations of the Western Hemisphere

Photo: Hardin Northern Local School District 5th grade students at Hardin Northern just finished an exploratory project on Ancient Civilizations in the Western Hemisphere.  The students were asked to research eight characteristics of either the Inca, Maya, Mississippian, or Aztec Civilizations.  They presented their findings to the class on Tuesday by using a slide presentation and a poster.  More pictures from the day can be found by clicking here.

Detective Clayton Eichman Awarded 2024 Ada Police Department Employee of the Year

Since joining the department in 2023, Officer Eichman has proven himself to be a valuable member of our department and the Ada Community.  In 2024 he was appointed to the position of Detective, Property Room Custodian and Village Code Enforcement Officer.
