Photo: Hardin Northern Local School District Students in Hardin Northern's College Credit Plus courses attended the University of Findlay's CCP Activity Day on Wednesday. They toured campus while participating in several activity sessions with UF professors and students. There was also a major fair held as part of the day. Representatives from each major program that the University of Findlay offers interacted with the students.

Photo: Kenton City Schools Preschool through 6th grade students at Kenton Elementary School learned about bus safety and expectations and were able to participate in a bus evacuation drill. Brian Clawson, Transportation Supervisor, arranged for bus drivers to visit KES with their buses to give the students the an opportunity to learn more about them. It will be in the Newland-Heydinger Insurance parking lot from 6:00pm until 10:00pm Friday night as they celebrate Kenton Wildcat football. Photo: Hardin County Sheriff's Office The two Hardin County Sheriff's Office canines participated in a week-long training exercise. Juno, and handler Sgt. Austin Carey, and Oz, along with handler Dep. Cody Winegardner, participated. The training covers all aspects of canine duties. It also acts as a tremendous refresher course for the canines and their handlers.
