A boil water alert is in effect for a section of Ada. Due to water main break in the 700 block of North Main Street, water was turned off Sunday evening. The boil water alert is for residences in the 600 and 700 blocks of North Main in the village. It will be in effect until further notice.
A Piqua man was killed in a crash that occurred late Sunday morning on Mount Olive-Agosta Road in Marion County. According to a release from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 69-year-old Gerald R. A 17-year-old Ada girl escaped injury in a two-vehicle crash that occurred in Bluffton Thursday afternoon. According to the Bluffton Police Department report, Presley Watkins was stopped waiting to turn left on State Route 103 when her vehicle was struck from behind by a car being driven by 31-year-old Brandon Schroeder, of Leipsic.
