Hardin County Board of Elections to Certify Provisional Ballots and Canvass November 5th Election Results Tomorrow

The Hardin County Board of Elections will meet tomorrow to certify provisional ballots and for the Official Canvass of the November 5 General Election.  The meeting will start at 9am Tuesday morning. It will be held in the Board of Elections office located in the basement of the Hardin County Courthouse in downtown Kenton. In addition, the board will conduct regular business, including approval of meeting minutes and approving bills.

Kenton Man Arrested Saturday, Faces Menacing and Disorderly Conduct Charges

A man who was issued a summons for assault and menacing late last week was arrested over the weekend. According to information on the Kenton Police Department's Daily Log Sheet for November 16, officers received a report concerning threats being made towards residents at 900 East Columbus Street. As a result of the investigation, 68-year-old Melvin Kearns was arrested. He is being held on charges of menacing and disorderly conduct. […]

Hoopin’ it Up Game Raises $6,000 for Hardin County Special Olympics

It was played November 3rd, and the Pioneers were the winners on and off the basketball court. The game raised $6000 for Hardin County Special Olympics.
