Bellefontaine Woman Facing Several Charges Following Crash in Bellefontaine

A Bellefontaine woman is facing charges following a single vehicle crash in Bellefontaine Wednesday afternoon.

 

According to the report from the Bellefontaine Police Department, 62 year old Susan Scudds lost control of her car while driving in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.

 

The car struck the steel gate at the entrance and continued southbound on Brown Avenue. Scudds then made a u-turn and ended up of the right side of the road where her car struck a light pole.

 

She then left the scene and was located later in the 500 North Madriver Street and was said to be intoxicated.

 

She and a 10 year old passenger were not injured.

 

Scudds has so far been charged with failure to control.
