Ben Logan Boys Golf Team Defeated Urbana

The Ben Logan boys golf team defeated Urbana 193-213 at Urbana Country Club Wednesday.

For the Raiders, Ethan Ricketts led the way with a 44 followed by Jacob Mitchell 48, Alex Naragon 49. Bryce Loomis 52, Aiden Elsass 53, and Trey Allen with a 54.

Coach Chris Conley said, “We tried to practice the night before with a lot of downhill and side hill putts but it’s difficult to replicate. It was the first time seeing the course for half of the boys. It’s frustrating to score much higher than normal but I was proud of the way the guys stayed focused and rebounded after posting some big numbers.”

The Raiders will be back in action Thursday at The Oaks in Lima playing Lima Central Catholic.
