Fourth-graders at Benjamin Logan Elementary School sent 100 CARE packages to service members in Kuwait this week.
The Bellefontaine Examiner reports the project was organized by the class of Barb Kuck, honing such skills as handwriting, fundraising, and civic responsibility in assembling and sending the packages.
Among the recipients were Alexia Bowling, SPC, a 2015 Ben Logan graduate, and Master Sergeant Joshua Shields, whose wife teaches at and daughter attends Benjamin Logan schools.
