Big Plays Lift Cats Past Defiance

The Kenton Wildcats used the big play to defeat Defiance 34-13 Friday at Fred J. Brown Stadium.

Kenton improves to 3-1 while Defiance is 0-4.

The Wildcats scored on pass plays of 48, 48, 85 & 94 yards, with Blaine Huston throwing for 504 yards and 4 scores.

Jayden Cornell, Jacob Eversole & Zac Swaney each had at least 149 yards receiving for the Cats.

Cornell was named the Ace Hardware Player of the Game.

Kenton hosts Wapakoneta on Friday.
