Board of Elections Officials Present Information to Kenton Lions Club

The Kenton Lions club held its meeting on Wednesday April 19, 2023, at the Kenton Elks.

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Lion President Bill Keller with 20 members and 2 guest present.

President Lion Bill Keller led with the pledge and the prayer. The meeting was adjourned and reconvened at 7:00 pm following a meal.

Guest speaker Stephanie McCullough and Becky Stevenson from the Hardin County Board of Elections was introduced by Lion Todd Oates. Information was shared that included changes in voting that included approved forms of ID, which include a State ID, Passport or valid drivers license. Information was also shared about absentee voting. Question and answer period followed presentation.

Planning started on raffle project for Eats On The Streets.

Memorial Day parade was discussed and planning was started for participation.

New members inducted were inducted by Lion Todd Oates. New inductees were Lion Mark Wilson sponsored by Lion Aaron Osborn and Lion Eddie Knox, sponsored by Lion Bill Keller.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:50 pm. Followed by the singing of the Lions Roar.

50/50 drawing was won by Lion Alger Gibson.
