Buddy Walk Held in Kenton Sunday

The weather on Sunday didn’t stop organizers from going ahead with the Buddy Walk in downtown Kenton.

The event was originally scheduled to start at 3, but was delayed for a couple of hours to get past the rain.

Numerous activities took place including music, painting and crafts and numerous other fun activities.

It took place around the courthouse square.

Proceeds from the Buddy Walk will go to the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio that offers support service, education and more to families across Central Ohio.

Organizers Tiffany and Tom Mustain have a son with down syndrome.

Reece will turn 5 on October 31.
