Building on South Main Struck Struck by a Car

A Kenton man was cited after the car he was driving struck a building in the 300 block of South Main Street this past Friday.

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 34 year old Kyle Anspach told police that as he was driving north on Main, a vehicle pulled out in front of him, and instead of hitting the brake, he accidently hit the accelerator.

The vehicle went off the right side of the road, crossed the parking lot and struck the northeast corner of the building.

The extent of damage to the building was not listed on the report.

Disabling damage occurred to the car.

Anspach was not injured.

He was cited for a reasonable control violation.
