Busy Weekend for Forest Maintenance Crew

Members of the village maintenance crew in Forest spent much of this past Super Bowl weekend in the village after a sewer system crash.  

Crews worked a double shift on Friday repairing one of the sewer lines.  

A second failed line was discovered by a maintenance crew member on Sunday while conducting weekend inspections.  

Maintenance employees were all recalled on Sunday and spent the entire day fixing the issue.  

According to Village Administrator Sean Young, it was all hands on deck and the maintenance crew stepped up to the challenge.  

He added that correcting the problem was very manpower intensive and required the entire crew.
