Car Towed from Scene After Downtown Kenton Crash on Wednesday

There were no injuries reported in a two vehicle crash that occurred just after 4 Wednesday afternoon in the 100 block of North Detroit Street in Kenton.

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 29 year old Leiah Lehman, of Bellefontaine, was slowing for traffic while driving north on Detroit, when her vehicle was struck from behind by a car being operated by 16 year old Landon Newland, of Mt. Victory.

Disabling damage occurred to Newland’s car, and it was towed from the scene.

Light damage occurred to Lehman’s minivan.

Newland was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation.
