A suspect in a burglary that occurred last week in Wyandot County has been arrested.
According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, detectives from the Major Crimes Unit named Brandon Carter, of Carey, as the suspect.
The burglary took place last Wednesday at a residence in the 4000 block of County Highway 16 where numerous firearms and power tools were stolen.
Late last week, detectives say they conducted a search of Carter’s home where the stolen firearms were found. A vehicle on the property was also seized.
On Monday, the vehicle was searched and the power tools were located.
Carter is currently being held in the Wyandot County Jail on other felony charges.
The case was sent to the Wyandot County Prosecutor and more charges are pending.
