A Carey man was arrested on a warrant Thursday.
According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, deputies went to a residence on Brown Street in Carey to serve the warrant on Nicholas Trausch.
Deputies conducted a search of the house, but Trausch was not located.
He was then observed walking in an alley north of the residence at which time he began to run through backyards.
After a short pursuit on foot, Trausch stopped and put his hands in the air.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Wyandot County Jail.
Trausch has been charged with obstructing official business.
