The Presbyterian Church of Ada is hosting monthly youth events for all students in grades 7-12. The church will host "The GATHERING" on the first Sunday evening of every month beginning this Sunday October 1. The hours will be from 6:00-8:00 pm. Students will experience a night of worship, with a message, food, fellowship and fun. The church is located at 201 South Main Street in Ada.
The Upper Scioto Valley Library is hosting a Book Fair October 9 through the 12. It will be open every day until 3:30. For parents and family conferences, the library will be open until 7:30. Parents are invited to stop in and browse with their USV student.

The 11th Annual 2023 Hardin Northern Fall Basketball Skills Camp will begin Monday October 2 starting at 7:30pm. The camps for boys and girls in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce released updated information about the Pumpkin Decorating Contest in the village. Due to some scheduling conflicts, the event is now scheduled to take place Saturday October 7. It will be from 11am until 1pm in Shelter House number 8 at the Ada Park.
