Forest Officials Address Complaints About Potholes

The Village Office in Forest has received several complaints regarding potholes on village roads and streets.   Officials responded by saying that they are aware of many streets that need attention. They added that the village maintenance crew has that on the schedule to address next month.   If Forest residents have any questions or concerns, they can contact the Village office at 419-273-2500.

Belle Center Man Injured in Logan County Crash

A Belle Center man was injured in a one vehicle crash that occurred late Monday morning in Logan County. According to the report, 48 year old Carl Burrows lost control of his vehicle while traveling east in the 6000 block of County Road 101. Section of SR 31 to Close Next Week

A section of State Route 31 south of Kenton is scheduled to be closed starting late next week. According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, 31 between Township Road 180 and Township Road 265, three miles south of Kenton, will close on Thursday, April 27 for a bridge replacement. It will be closed for approximately 60 days. A detour will be in place.

Ohio Veterans History Event at MLJ Library Saturday

The Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library is hosting an Ohio Veterans History event on Saturday April 22. Opening words will be given at 9:30 that morning followed by a PowerPoint presentation honoring and researching Ohio's heroes.
