Kenton FFA Collecting Items for Tornado Victims

The Kenton City Schools FFA chapter is collecting needed items for victims of last week's deadly tornado that devastated the Indian Lake area. Indian Lake's FFA chapter said that some of the items needed are batteries of all sizes, extension cords, gloves, gas cans, prepaid visa cards, tarps, flashlights and water.  Non-perishable foods would also be appreciated. Coffee with the Sheriff in Ada Friday

Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart's next Coffee with the Sheriff event is tomorrow. It will be held Friday morning from 9 until 10:30 at the Buckeye East Coffee Shop in Ada. You will be able to meet Sheriff Everhart, enjoy coffee courtesy of the Sheriff and have a casual conversation.  There'll be opportunities to ask questions, express concerns or offer a compliment.

New Ohio Wildlife Officer Assigned to Wyandot County

FINDLAY, Ohio – Ohio Wildlife Officer Payton Phenicie, of New Washington, has been assigned to Wyandot County, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife. Officer Phenicie replaces State Wildlife Officer Nathan West, who was promoted to the Wildlife District Four (southeast Ohio) manager in 2023.
