Christmas Festival Forum at Bluffton University

BLUFFTON, Ohio—The Bluffton University music department will present the annual Christmas Festival Forum at 11 a.m. on Dec. 3, in Yoder Recital Hall.

Students will perform compositions that prepare hearts and minds for the Christmas season. This concert will feature Bluffton’s Camerata Singers, Woodwind Ensemble and Low Brass Ensemble.

Under the direction of Dr. Bo Young Kang, Camerata Singers will perform compositions from different eras and composers, including Thomas Tallis, John Rutter, Javier Busto and Lala Hoggard.

Bluffton’s Woodwind Ensemble, directed by Dr. Andrew Liebermann, will play a Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Medley and Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Wizards in Winter.”

The Low Brass Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Roy Couch, will entertain with traditional and sacred tunes such as “Greensleves,” “Good King Wenceslas,” an arrangement of “Ave Maria” by Rachmaninoff, and “Silent Night.”

The event is free and open to the public.
