Cold Case Investigation: Allen County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Public Assistance

The Allen County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a cold case investigation.

On or around November 8, 2020, deputies were dispatched to the 700 block of North Phillips Road in Harrod, where they found the body of William Brown deceased near the roadway.

His body was transported to the Lucan County Coroner’s Office, and detectives are investigating his death as suspicious.

It was reported that Brown was seen at Harry’s Hideaway in Lima on the night of November 7, and he was taken to the 700 block of North Phillips Road where he was planning to stay with family members for the night.

It is unknown what happened between the time he was dropped off until the time his body was discovered by a passerby.

Detectives at the Allen County Sheriff’s Office are interested in any information pertaining to Brown’s death.
