Columbus Woman Arrested Following Traffic Stop in Union County

A Columbus woman was arrested following a Christmas Day traffic stop in Union County.

According to the Daily Media Release from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped a vehicle on U.S. 33, east of U.S. 42 for a traffic violation.

Upon further investigation, the passenger, identified as 41 year old Mary V. Farley, was arrested for obstructing official business.

She was transported to the Tri County Regional Jail.
