The Hardin County Commissioners heard from Jacqualine Fitzgerald from the Chamber and Business Alliance at a recent meeting.
She said the Downtown Revitalization Group is hoping to secure USDA funding for various issues regarding the future of the downtown.
Fitzgerald noted that a $10,000 Ohio Department of Transportation grant is being worked on to do a one day strategic planning for each Village in Hardin County.
She is also working on a grant for a Splash Pad in Forest, and Invenergy is moving forward without a Power Purchase Agreement that should create 14 full time jobs.
