The Hardin County Commissioners received an update from the Hardin Hills Administrator at a recent virtual meeting.

Sharon Huston said sixteen staff members have been quarantined for potential COVID-19, but there have been no positive test results.

All will now be tested per the state requirement.

Huston also proposed a private bed increase from $175 to $185 effective June 1.

The increase would be in line with the average Medicaid payment and would affect eleven residents.

The request for the increase was approved by the commissioners.

Huston added that the facility is full with one on the waiting list.
